We are honored to partner with Pastor Diogene in Port-Au-Prince Haiti. Over the years Pastor Dio has ministered to thousands of people in Haiti. Our relationship with Pastor Dio started over 30 years ago helping to bring assistance to the schools and churches that he oversees.

Pastor Diogene Pierre is a truly remarkable man. As a baby, Dio was dying of a voodoo curse. A Cuban Christian prayed for Dio and he was healed. This caused his parents to become followers of Jesus.

When Dio was 8 years old, his mother’s last words to him were that she wanted him to become a pastor and succeed in life. Shortly after, she died in his arms.

As a young boy Dio would walk to school 3 hours because he wanted to learn and he wanted to succeed. More than just succeeding, Dio has made an incredible impact on so many in Haiti!

Before her passing in January of 2023, Lionette Pierre (Pastor Dio’s wife) also was born and raised in Haiti. Many years ago she had a dream to start a home in Haiti for special needs children. Beyond Our Door Global found this dream to be a perfect match with our mission!

On September 3, 2007 at 8am the M-House opened its doors to become the home of 13 children with 8 employees. Today the M-House has grown to house 28 children with 20 employees, and is the focus of our support in Haiti.

Pastor Dio is committed to help the poor and suffering of Haiti. It is humbling to see his heart for the broken, needy and vulnerable that surround them.

He has spent his entire life offering hope to the most vulnerable through the love of Jesus!
